Winter Wonderland Wedding

December 20, 2010

Blue and white were the colors we used to create a winter wonderland for this wedding. For the Ceremony at the church, we uplit the walls in blue and spotlighted birch trees with frost gelled white pars. For the Reception, we transformed the Southampton Room at the Log Cabin with blue uplights, and pinspots.

Tommy and Laura at The Log Cabin

August 10, 2010

The recent wedding of Tommy and Laura Plante at The Log Cabin included many of our wedding vendor friends. It’s only right that the owner of Hard at Play DJ service had one of the most well planned and elegant weddings we’ve lit this year!
We uplit the perimeter of the ballroom with shades of Lipstick and slowly transformed the color to Spice over the course of the evening and added accents of Amber to the airwall. We pinspotted the table arrangements from Durocher Florist, the cake from Cerrato’s Bakery, and the head table.
Joining us that evening were Seth Kaye Photography, Steven Fowler Films, CT Party Photos, and DJ Rob Alberti.

Playing Around with Light “Part Deux”

June 9, 2010

The Log Cabin, Durocher Florist, Robert Charles Photography, and CJC Event Lighting are working on a marketing project that you will see the results of shortly. Here are a few sneak peeks of the second shoot in the Southampton Room at the Log Cabin. (please note that these are my own photos, the real images taken by Bob from Robert Charles are amazing!!)

A Tuscan Wedding

June 6, 2010

We transformed The Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA for a Tuscan themed wedding using Amber uplights and a de-focused head table texture using antique floral breakup gobos. We pinspotted the Head Table, cake table and guest table arrangements to highlight and the transformation took its true form during a wonderful “Log Cabin” sunset! The food at this wedding was incredible and non-stop!

Playing Around With Light

May 21, 2010

We had the opportunity to play around with some of our friends at the Delaney House this past week, Durocher Florist, Robert Charles Photography, and CJC Event Lighting are working on a marketing project that you will see the results of shortly. Here are a few sneak peeks at the shoot. It was fun to work with some colors that we might not otherwise get a chance to use… (please note that these are my own photos, the real images taken by Bob from Robert Charles are amazing!!)

David Tutera Modern Love Event At The Log Cabin

February 6, 2010

We had the pleasure of lighting both the panel and the main ballroom for this event at The Log Cabin. We selected Amber conventional uplights and hung 6 bars of pinspots from the airwall track with our airwall hangers to highlight the specialty tables.
